Due to declining attendance, lack of funding, and various and sundry other reasons we will no longer be renting the space at N Street Village, nor for that matter will we be renting ANY space to host faerie potluck.

Faerie potluck is changing dramatically. And here's the scoop.

**Faerie Nomads**

Our last potluck held at N Street Village was held on Monday December 19. Yule, December 20, was be our transition point, and from there onward we begin our journeys wandering around the Desert of Columbia ever in search of the Promised Faerie Homo Home.

**Weekly Potlucks, Monthly Rotations**

DC Radical Faeries are proud of our weekly potluck gatherings and that will not be changing. However, beginning in January we will start a monthly rotation of potluck homes. At the end of every month we will ceremonially pass the kitty and the hearth on to the next host of the wandering faeries. On occasion as people are so moved we will have private rites in personal homes (i.e. Fritter hosting Veneralia, Niko-Brigid, Roland-May Eve, etc.). **Event Planning**

During our time of wandering we will also be changing the way things operate in programming as well. With larger spaces, and separate rooms we will be able to have multiple things happening at any given time. This means there will be much less structure in the programming, and the opportunity for creative spontaneity will be much greater. Circle Keepers will still help plan the LARGE activities like Red Dragon and some of the big holiday events, but there will be no impetus for CK's to push weekly pre-scheduled events. Any weekly events are solely up to the faeries as a whole.

**Donations at Potluck and Fundraising**

We have done amazingly admirable work in raising funds for other organizations, and we have paid our rents dutifully and those things have served us well and given us experiences to learn from. As we move into the age of Nomadic Faeries we will be re-prioritizing our finances drastically. Our home fund has done nothing but collect interest for the last few years, because our general operating budget has been used to fund everything but our dreams. Our focus in potluck donations will be toward gaining a faerie home, a space paid for and owned by us all, for us first, to be what we all believe it can be. We will still raise money for charity at Red Dragon, but most all of our other event activities will be geared towards the faerie home fund.

**Changes to Circle Keepers**

CK's will still happen every month but they will function primarily as an administrative body for dealing with the money, the business-ey things and providing the public relations (email, print, web) on behalf of the group. All meetings will still be open to anyone who wishes to attend, and all minutes of meetings will be announced to the group on the monday potluck following the CK meeting as we have been doing.

**The Grand Vision**

We have long been wanting to do something to rekindle the magick of faerie living, to make spaces that are truly faerie, where we can be free to be our full faerie selves in whatever incarnation that vision will lead us. Though it has taken us a VERY long time to come around to seeing that vision we are taking steps down that road. It is our sincere hope that we can begin making amends with each other, come to understand each other's hearts again, to believe in each other's dreams and work together to help each and every one of us shine. And as we come together again, and as we begin to dream again, and as we share in the communion of each others hearts we will find the common space, that mutual faerie space. And we will work to make that faerie space grow and become one with it, to let it grow inside our hearts and spill forth into our homes, and from our homes to the city, and in the city to find the space that calls our names, to find that place where we can live our heartspace. This will be our Faerie Home, our Sanctuary, our Embassy of the Heartspace. It will be for all of us, excluding none. Give us your creative, your emotional, your passionate, your magickal, your fruity, your flaming, your sexy, your naked, your kinky, your crazy, your love-struck fools yearning to be free.

See the dream. Touch it. Feel it. Live it. Know that it is coming.

We just must wander and seek it first.
